Gun Lake Casino Phase 1-5

Project Description: Phase 1 (2004 to 2011) – The initial phase consisted of merging three existing buildings into a new gaming facility. Various site improvements including above-ground storage tanks, a wastewater treatment plant, lift station, bridge, retaining walls, a Central Plant and an expanded parking lot were also studied. Phases 2A and 2B (2013) – Porte Cochere relocation and north parking lot expansion (Phase 2A). 36,000 sq-ft casino expansion, Central Plant, and west parking lot expansion (Phase 2B). Phase 3 (2017) – Four-story parking structure, approximately 250 by 460 ft in plan, constructed on the north side of Phase 2B. Phase 4 (2019) – 81,000 sq-ft casino expansion and reconstruction of the south parking lot. Phase 5 (2021) – 22,400 sq-ft casino expansion, 16-story, 40,000 sq-ft hotel tower, 44,500 atrium “aqua” dome and various site improvements.
